A Rome woman was sent to the hospital after her GMC Sonoma hit a tractor-trailerĀ  on the Alabama Highway west of Rome.

“She struck a parked tractor trailer,”

The tractor-trailer was driven by Earnest Hall of Dalton, who had parked in front of Garrett’s Salvage to unload bathtubs and showers.

Information was unavailable as to whether either driver would be cited.

Traffic was temporarily restricted to one lane in each direction, until the vehicle could be removed.
